We figured that the Russian player would aim to strike East Prussia first as it is quite exposed and can quickly be cut off (2-3 provinces deep at it's narrowest), and thus would have the bulk of it's force in Western Poland. We knew that I could hold the border with France, which is heavily fortified, using only 1-2 armies and he could hold the border with Serbia, which does not have a large enough military to properly overwhelm him, with 1-2 armies, so we decided to concentrate on Russia. Me and the set-to-be AUH player were trying to come up with a plan to use in the tournament. ME and 9 friends are going to play a great war tournament soon.
